August 13th was Lilya Kay's 3rd birthday..Of course as most of you know we have 2 parties..one in Cottonport and one in Calhoun (last year for that though)..She had a great birthday..It was so different to see her reaction to the cake and presents this year.. It was very different than her 2nd birthday..This year she was very vocal and everything was so exciting and beautiful. Her theme was Dora (obviously) and she was more worried about her cake than anything else. The huge sign that is hung in our house was made by Roger...haha..yeah right.. My aunt had it made for her from the women's prison in Cport..quite amazing. At her party in Calhoun, she got a dora kite, ($2 kite from Dollar store), her favorite present. The party had to stop, Roger had to put this together and everyone had to go outside to watch her fly the kite.(102 degrees at 5 pm). She had a wonderful 3rd birthday (twice). Threw in a few pics of Stubaby. Poor thing he is always forgotten. Took him to the doctor on Wed and he weighs 18 and 1/2 lbs. He is a healthy big boy. He is starting to sit, still a little weeble wooble, but he can definitely get around on all fours. Lilya has learned that she cannot leave things on the floor anymore and he isn't as much fun anymore now that he is mobile. He is such a happy baby. Hope everyone enjoys.
