Some updates

Sorry it has been a while since we updated our blog. Lots of changes have been going on in the world of Lilya. She has 2 new teeth, which makes a total of 6 now. She is starting to talk. She said rain this weekend. She even starting saying Papaw and KayKay, even though kaykay sounds like tata. She is making progress with this talking thing though. Rog is desperately trying to teach her to say Oscar. Chris, Jessica, and Oscar are coming this month and he really wants her to be able to say Oscar before he gets here.
We were supposed to have a really rainy weekend, but instead we ended up with sunshine on Saturday and Sunday. So that meant we had to water the grass we planted and flowerbeds. Lilya really enjoys the sprinkler. She chases the water as it goes back and forth. She did get wet of course and so did her shorts. They are big for her already and being wet made it worse. Rog tried to tuck in her shirt to help hold up her pants, but as you can see she was not excited about that. She ran after Lucy in the yard, played hide and seek, and even got the rake and did some yard work. Just kidding, we aren't gonna make her do that YET!!! Our friends Ali and Justin got her a trampoline for Easter. She enjoys jumpy jumping. We had a fun weekend outside.

Easter

Well, as always we went to Cottonport for Easter. We went to the Easter festival and enjoyed seeing everyone and Lilya loved the snoballs and little chickens. We did a little egg knocking and we also had the 2nd annual easter egg fight. We gather up all the easter eggs after the kids knock with everyone and we divide into 2 teams and have an egg war. This year they also used water balloons!! The adults are worse than the kids. It was a great time. Nick taught Lilya how to knock eggs. She and Ella are gonna be in the egg knocking competition next year!!!
