Lilya at the Pumpkin Patch

Sunday we took Lilya to the pumpkin patch after church. I was very surprised she keep her dress on that long. She had a great time. There were a lot of pumpkins this year, especially really big ones that she thought she could pick up. There was a pumpkin carved out of wood too that the kids (and grown-ups) could stand behind and take a picture. She thought this was really fun, so did her daddy. I also took a picture with Lilya at the pumpkin. Had to post it for my cousin Erica. She says I never put pics of me and Lilya on our blog. Really didn't want to now, already feel big and pregnant. Sorry don't think you can see the belly in this picture though. Lilya was being silly of course and running (as always) everywhere. We ended up with a very tall pumpkin. We have ideas for carving. Plan on doing that this Sunday. We will send you pics of our awesome carving! Happy Halloween.

School Nerd

Doesn't she look like a litte school nerd. I thought this was too funny. She found my glasses on the table and put them on. It took me a little while to even realize she had them.

Our first road trip

So last Thursday we decided to book a room, pack our bags and head to the beach. We stopped to pick up KayKay along the way. It was a great trip there with Lilya. The pictures do lie though. She was not always smiling. She hated wet sand. As long as she was dry and in the sand it was okay. If she had any on her hands or feet she freaked out and wanted it cleaned. We kept her out there long enough to get some vacation pictures. She loved the room though. All she wanted to do was go inside and eat. We got our money's worth of the room. We were located on the bay side which turned out to work better because there were tons of boats passing which she loved to sit and watch. The ride back was horrible to say the least. It took us 11 hours to get to Cottonport which should have only been a 6 hour trip. I will never travel with a 2 year old on a holiday weekend again. I will however always travel with her potty. It was a lifesaver...for me and Lilya! It turned out to be a fun and interesting vacation with many stories to tell her later.

Lilya's 2nd birthday party again

Of course we have to have 2 parties..one in Calhoun and one in Cottonport. These are a few pics from the Cottonport party. We had a water slide, hot dogs, and farm animals again. Lilya enjoyed the time in the country with all her cousins. She loved her new cousin Camille.

Well we made another fantastic year. Can't believe she is 2 already. We had a great birthday party. Had a farm animal cake and hot dogs. It was a great time. Lilya had a fun birthday.

Bombs Away

Just wanted to share what goes on in my house while I am at work. Interesting isn't it. They even take pictures and keep the evidence around. Wonder why we had to order new stuffing for the bean bag chair???
