Future Trooper

We went to the public safety expo a few weekends ago. The captain at the troop had to give Lilya this wonderful plastic trooper hat. I couldn't believe she put it on her head. I guess it helped when Roger showed her how how to wear it!!!

In my shoes again....

Caught Lilya in my closet again of course. I think my shoes get rearranged at least 4 times a day. This time she found the cowboy boots that were waaaayyyyy in the back of my closet. She also found a purse which is her knew thing now. She wants to carry one all the time. Roger bought her a play compact, keys, and cell phone at the dollar store the other day. She has to pack them in her purse and she carries it around the house while she strolls her babies in the stroller. I found Lucy's dog biscuits in the purse the other day. Oh yeah, she also got a cowboy hat out of Roger's closet.

Shoes

Lilya has a fascination with shoes..that is not gonna be good for Roger. She already knows what the mall is too. When we go by it, she points and says "mall". Way too early for all that. Anyway, she had just gotten out of the pool and decided she needed to play in the bag of shoes that Ella gave her. She hates wearing her own shoes, but she will wear all of Ella's and Mommy's and Daddy's and I'm sure anybody elses who will let her.

Pool and Watermelon

Usually every evening, Lilya likes to take a dip in her pool..She also likes to dip Lucy in the pool. One afternoon we cut a watermelon too. She really enjoyed it obviously. She didn't mind sticking her face in it. She would chew the watermelon and save all the seeds in her cheeks then spit them out...pretty talented. Check out the picture of her with her tongue hanging out...think she got that from Clay. Can you guess in what picture she is poopooing?

Oscar comes to Calhoun

At the end of May, Chris, Jessica, and Oscar came to visit us for a few days. We all had a wonderful time especially Lilya and Oscar. We took them to the mall..they rode the carousel (at least 4 times), the car buggies, ate dippin dots, and even played with the pup pup at Old Navy. On Saturday, Oscar and Lilya stayed with Roger (Alone!!!). They played really well. They sang patty cake, Lilya loved on Oscar when he cried for his mommy and daddy, and then she taught him about the wonderful candy they call M&M's...He loved 'em...Don't worry Oscar we will send you a whole bag for Christmas. As you can tell they had a pretty fun filled day. I think Roger realized how fun it would have been if we would have had twins. Finally by the last day, Lilya gave a little hug and smile for Jess. We really enjoyed having them here.
