Happy 3rd Birthday Lilya Kay

August 13th was Lilya Kay's 3rd birthday..Of course as most of you know we have 2 parties..one in Cottonport and one in Calhoun (last year for that though)..She had a great birthday..It was so different to see her reaction to the cake and presents this year.. It was very different than her 2nd birthday..This year she was very vocal and everything was so exciting and beautiful. Her theme was Dora (obviously) and she was more worried about her cake than anything else. The huge sign that is hung in our house was made by Roger...haha..yeah right.. My aunt had it made for her from the women's prison in Cport..quite amazing. At her party in Calhoun, she got a dora kite, ($2 kite from Dollar store), her favorite present. The party had to stop, Roger had to put this together and everyone had to go outside to watch her fly the kite.(102 degrees at 5 pm). She had a wonderful 3rd birthday (twice). Threw in a few pics of Stubaby. Poor thing he is always forgotten. Took him to the doctor on Wed and he weighs 18 and 1/2 lbs. He is a healthy big boy. He is starting to sit, still a little weeble wooble, but he can definitely get around on all fours. Lilya has learned that she cannot leave things on the floor anymore and he isn't as much fun anymore now that he is mobile. He is such a happy baby. Hope everyone enjoys. Old Family Photos

Found some old pics as I was cleaning and making room for Stubaby's stuff in his big boy room. I absolutely love the clothes we were all wearing....especially Gail's outfit riding the 4-wheeler. Thought they were great so had to share, but I realize only my family will appreciate these. The baby I am holding is Clay...yeah I know everyone is thinking it looks just like Stubaby :)

In da Hood

This past weekend we were in da hood (Cottonport at KK's house). Nick rented a huge blow up slide for the kids...and the grown-ups who still think they are kids. We had so much fun. The slide was way too big and fast for the little ones though. So Lilya enjoyed the swing and Camille thought she would ride the pink motorcycle.

Clay or Stuart???

Ok so we are on this subject again...We went to Cottonport this past weekend and KK is still saying Stubaby looks like Clay...So she pulled out some baby pics of Clay and she had Lilya completely fooled...Lilya was certain that the pictures were of Stubaby...You decide???

Stubaby now 4 months old and Lilya becoming a big girl

Wanted to share a few pics that we recently took of Stuart and Lilya. We took Stuart to the camp on Caney for Memorial Day for the first time. The picture of Lilya in the yellow dress was from 2 weeks ago before church. She had to wear her Dora backpack to church. She looks so grown up and ready for school. The picture of her with lipstick on her face is KK's fault. She left her lipstick in Lilya's backpack and of course Lilya found it and tried it on. We took a few pics of Lilya and Stubaby this morning playing in the bed. And yes that is a pink towel he is laying on...I don't have blue ones because I have those from Lilya..Sorry Stubaby you get the hand me downs. If anyone thinks that Stuart looks like anyone besides Lilya or Roger, I would love to know. KK is the only one who thinks he still looks like Clay. Hope everyone enjoys.

Yes we still do have a blog

Sorry it has been so long since I updated the blog. It is a little harder to do now with 2 kiddos. I put up a bunch of pics starting with pictures from Easter in Cottonport. I have a few random pics thrown inbetween there as well. Chris, Jessica, and Oscar just came to Louisiana. They were in Cottonport for Stuart's baptism since Chris is Stuart's godfather. They stayed with us a few days and we really had a great time. Lilya and Oscar have fun playing on the trampoline and running in the yard. It is now our turn to visit them. We will be flying to Jackson Hole Labor Day weekend to spend a couple of days with them. Hope everyone enjoys the pics and I promise I won't wait so long to get more pictures up. I am sure I will have many pics of Lilya and Stuart in the pool this summer.
